1. Take a moment to think about why you are involved in fundraising. What is your motivation for fundraising? What is it that fuels your fundraising efforts?
Fundraising for a ministry is obviously to enable the ministry to continue doing what it has been called for. But more that that, it is to extend the Kingdom of God through our work of equipping adults to see children and families through the lens of the Bible, teaching them about the Word, building relationships with one another and with God.
2. How would you describe your current mindset when it comes to fundraising? Are there any areas in which you might need a mindset shift?
I do need a mindset shift in terms of what my focus is should I want to approach individuals for funding. It should be with a positive attitude rather than hesitant and apologetic but with enthusiasm to offer them the opportunity to discover God’s love for them and serving Him.
