Leadership is influencing people to move from where they are towards their desired destination as envisioned; Leadership is empowerment and helps shape culture of the organization/community. It motivates, encourages, brings inspiration to people that make them want to follow. It also is about character or living a life of integrity, doing exactly what is said/communicated. Leadership is providing clarity, clear communication of where to go, what to do and how to get there. It will require self-management to be able to inspire others to embrace certain disciplines so that they get to where they envision to go.

Personally, it will require me to manage myself well, embrace certain disciplines, including wise use of my time and resources, exhibiting characteristics worthy of emulation so that I can set a good example in my life, my speech, my attitude, my deeds and my faith. I need to start with myself. Self-governance. Self-management before I have the right to even begin managing the lives of others.
