Welcome to our online learning platform, FiftyFour (the “Platform”). These general Terms of Use (the “Terms“) govern your use of the Platform as a not-for-profit leader. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms.
FiftyFour’s mission is to strategically grow organisational capacity and help non-profits build healthy organisations by drawing together specialists, facilitators and resource partners, and through shared learning, to create impactful learning resources. We believe that, if we grow the health of leaders, teams and organisations they will have an increased impact on the communities they serve. Healthy leaders leading healthy organisations will have a sustainable impact.
Account Registration
- To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to register an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process and keep your account information up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You agree not to share your account information with any third party.
- You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.
User Responsibilities
- You agree to use the Platform for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You will not:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights[NB1] [MJL2] in your jurisdiction or any jurisdiction in which the platform is accessed including applicable laws and regulations of South Africa.
- Engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities.
- Interfere with or disrupts the operation of the Platform or the servers and networks connected to it.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of online webinars and cohorts.
- Upload or transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful content.
- Use the Platform to harass, intimidate, or threaten others.
- Use the Platform to solicit personal information or engage in phishing activities.
- Use the Platform to promote or distribute spam, unsolicited advertising, or unauthorized commercial communications.

– Managing and improving the Platform.
– Sending relevant updates and notifications.
– Analysing usage patterns and trends.

- By posting or submitting any content, including but not limited to text, images, videos and audio, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.
- You retain ownership of the content you post to our Platform. We’re allowed to share your content to anyone through any media, including promoting it via advertising on other websites.
- The content you post as a student or instructor (including courses) remains yours. By posting courses and other content, you allow FiftyFour to reuse and share it, but you do not lose any ownership rights you may have over your content.
- When you post content, comments, questions, and reviews, and when you submit to us ideas and suggestions for new features or improvements, you authorize FiftyFour to use and share this content with anyone, distribute it and promote it on any platform and in any media, and to make modifications or edits to it as we see fit.
- You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary rights, powers and authority to grant us the license to use the content you submit.
- You agree to these uses of your content without any compensation being paid to you.
