Being a servant. Gracious to others and willing to lovingly bring correction. Being a visionary and having the ability to transfer that vision to others in a way that will let them buy into it and be committed to serving it. A leader needs to be emotionally, spiritually and socially strong and mature. A leader needs to be very focused on the goal, yet willing to listen to and care for those in the flock. Leaders need to be followers and willing to submit and be accountable. Leaders should lead by example and inspire those who follow. Leaders should be prepared to work at least as hard as what they expect of others. Leaders should be selfless and have great integrity. Leaders need to be full of good character.
