Can you see your organisation without you leading it? What might it look like?

Yes, it will be more fun, more dynamic, more systematic, more efficient, creative and will grow to greater heights.

In what ways is your identity tied to your organisation? If you’ve been in your organisation for a long time, what emotions are sparked when you think about not being a part of the leadership?

I’m still part of the leadership as a board but no longer in direct operations so I’m not really tied but easier for me to let go as I also will be engaged in another entity.

A time will come when someone else is leading your organisation. How will you make sure you will be ok with all the decision-making of the new leader if you have no say in it? What do you need to do to get yourself in that place?

Really help shape the culture of the org helping them understand core values that the org upholds, model what kind of servant leadership is, support and truly empower next gen of leaders and invest in them.
